New York: Brett Favre really gets where Aaron Rodgers is coming from. He doesn’t think Rodgers should even think about retirement just yet. In a recent chat with TMZ Sports, Favre shared his thoughts on Rodgers’ future.

He’s been keeping an eye on Rodgers since their days in Green Bay and believes the Jets quarterback can bounce back after a tough 2024 season. Favre confidently said, “He’s got something left,” adding that Rodgers has “a lot of juice left in the tank.”

Even though both Rodgers and the Jets had a rough season, Favre thinks Rodgers is too talented to just give up. He pointed out that in the last game, Rodgers showed flashes of his old self, throwing four touchdown passes and racking up 274 yards in a win against the Dolphins.

Favre encouraged Rodgers to keep playing if he feels even a little bit motivated to prove he can still perform at a high level. After all, Rodgers had a solid season overall, throwing for nearly 3,900 yards and 28 touchdowns, despite missing most of the previous season due to an injury.

Now at 41, Rodgers is weighing his options for 2025 and is open to returning to the Jets if the new management is on board. It’ll be interesting to see what he decides!
