The Jets continue their search for a new GM, interviewing Jon-Eric Sullivan from the Packers as their 14th candidate since November.

Sullivan is a hot name this hiring season. He’s also in talks with the Raiders and just met with the Titans about their GM position.
He started with the Packers as an intern way back in 2003 and has worked his way up. He became the vice president of player personnel in 2022 and has been a key player in their scouting department.
Sullivan has seen a lot of success with the Packers, including a Super Bowl win in 2010 with Aaron Rodgers. Recently, the team made the playoffs five out of the last six years, although they were knocked out by the Eagles in the Wild-Card round this season.
The Jets are taking their time with this search. They’ve been thorough, especially after firing both their GM and head coach during a tough 5-12 season. They even brought in Mike Tannenbaum to help find candidates.
So far, they’ve interviewed a bunch of folks for the GM role, and they’re also looking for a new head coach. It’s a busy time for the Jets as they try to turn things around.
