Edmonds: A shooting incident has left a teenager in critical condition, and police are on the hunt for five suspects. They’ve even released video footage to help identify them.

The police believe these suspects are likely in their late teens or early twenties, with at least three being men. They’re urging anyone with information to step forward.

This all went down around 2:30 a.m. near Arnie’s restaurant and the ferry terminal. An 18-year-old man and his sister were at the pier when a group confronted them, leading to a verbal altercation that escalated into gunfire.

The young man was shot multiple times and remains in critical condition. Police Commander Josh McClure mentioned they hope to communicate with the victim soon.

The sister didn’t recognize the group, and authorities suspect gang involvement might be a factor. Local fisherman Eddie Miguel, who often visits the pier, said he’s not surprised by the violence, noting that younger crowds can get rowdy.

He emphasized the importance of being aware of your surroundings, especially when fishing alone. The police have a message for the suspects: if they turn themselves in, they might be treated more leniently.

McClure stated that anyone who was present but didn’t participate should come forward as a witness, not a suspect. If you have any information, you can reach out to the Edmonds Police Department at (425) 407-3999 or report it anonymously online.
