A high-speed police chase in Manchester ended with three arrests after a stolen vehicle was cornered in a dead end
They saw it near Cheshire around 10 PM and decided to follow it. The driver didn’t stop, and that’s when the chase began, zooming through the streets of south Manchester and Burnage.
Dashcam footage from the police shows the car hitting speeds of 100mph in a 40mph zone. Crazy, right? Eventually, the driver got boxed in at a dead end, and one guy even tried to make a run for it on foot.
In the end, three men, aged 35, 39, and 40, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and dangerous driving. They’re still in custody while the police figure things out.
When they searched the car, they found gloves, balaclavas, and tools for breaking in. Those items are now being checked for fingerprints and other evidence.
The police think these guys are serious offenders, with one of them wanted for something else. Inspector Danny Kabal from the Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit said they’re committed to keeping the streets safe and catching criminals.
He also mentioned that they made other arrests in the Bury area that night, showing how they’re spreading their resources to tackle crime. The inspector thanked the public for their support and apologized for any hassle during the chase.
