Warm Weather and Light Showers Before Cold Front Hits This Weekend

Orlando: We’re starting the day with some light showers, but it’s mostly warm and dry for Saturday. The skies will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy, and those breezy southwesterly winds will kick in. Expect highs to reach the upper 70s, which is pretty nice for this time of year.

As night falls, more showers are on the way with a strong cold front approaching. The best chance for rain will be northwest of Orlando, and it’ll stay warm overnight with lows in the mid-60s.

Sunday looks a bit unsettled, with showers and storms likely throughout the day. There’s even a chance for an isolated strong storm, but highs will still be in the low 70s.

By Monday, get ready for a big change. Much cooler air will sweep in for the MLK holiday, bringing plenty of clouds and highs only in the low 50s.

Next week is shaping up to be quite active, with rain bands expected to roll through. It’ll be windy and cool, with highs mostly in the 50s and 60s. Plus, there’s a chance of wintry weather in North Florida and the Panhandle by mid-next week.
