Sang Heon Lee discusses his role in ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 2 and his hopes for Kitty’s future
Los Angeles: Fans are buzzing about Sang Heon Lee’s performance in the second season of XO, Kitty. The show, a spin-off from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, has really taken off. Anna Cathcart, who plays Kitty, is on a quest for love, and Lee’s character, Min Ho, adds a lot of charm to the mix.
In Season 1, Min Ho was an unexpected love interest for Kitty. Their relationship started off rocky, but by the end of the season, he confessed his feelings. Kitty was taken aback and turned him down, setting the stage for some serious character growth in Season 2.
Lee shared that he’s proud of how Min Ho navigates his complicated relationship with his dad while dealing with his own personal issues. He mentioned how challenging it was to film a scene where Min Ho comforts Kitty in the rain, but it turned out beautifully.
Throughout the season, Kitty is busy reconnecting with her family and exploring her feelings for another character, Yuri. Even though Min Ho claims his confession was a moment of “temporary insanity,” the chemistry between him and Kitty is still palpable.
In a fun twist, Min Ho even confronts Peter, Kitty’s sister’s boyfriend, during a lacrosse tournament. Lee found it cute how protective Min Ho got, even though Peter reassured him there was no rivalry.
Interestingly, Lee’s sister plays Yuri, Kitty’s other love interest. He downplayed any sibling rivalry, saying he just wants the best for Kitty, regardless of who she ends up with.
By the end of the season, Min Ho seems to have given up on love after a tough experience, but Kitty’s decision to join him on a summer trip hints at potential growth for both characters. Lee is excited about what could happen in a possible Season 3.
Overall, Season 2 of XO, Kitty focuses on character development, making it a hit among fans. With both seasons now streaming on Netflix, viewers are eager for more adventures with Kitty and her friends.
