Policewoman from Warrington Promoted to Chief Inspector Role

Warrington: Zoe Bowden, who kicked off her career as a constable in Warrington, just got promoted to chief inspector. She joined Cheshire Police back in 2012 and has worked in various roles across the county.

Starting out in Warrington and Runcorn, she focused on community policing. Now, she’s in charge of the Macclesfield local policing unit. Zoe became a detective constable in 2018 and later moved up to detective sergeant, helping some of the county’s most vulnerable folks.

She specialized in complex cases, especially around sexual offenses, and even developed programs for youth engagement. Recently, she was promoted to inspector, managing resources, and now she’s leading Cheshire Police’s forensic unit.

Zoe expressed her pride in her new role, saying she’s excited to work with a dedicated team. She emphasized the importance of understanding community needs and boosting public confidence in the police.
