New York: Finn Balor is in need of a fresh start, and now seems like the perfect moment for WWE to bring back his alter ego, The Demon. He made a splash in WWE after joining from NXT in 2014, where he was a top talent. His time in NXT was marked by incredible matches as The Demon, but since then, his character has struggled to find a clear direction.
Balor has had a decent run in WWE, winning multiple championships, but it feels like he’s been missing that creative spark. The Demon character has been underutilized on the main roster, with only a few appearances that didn’t quite capture the magic it had in NXT.
His recent loss to Damian Priest could be the turning point for Balor. It’s a chance for him to hit rock bottom and rediscover The Demon within. With the right push, he could be a serious contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, especially against someone like Gunther.
WWE has the right people in place, like Triple H and Rob Fee, to make The Demon’s return impactful. While the competition at the top is fierce, it’s time to give Balor the tools he needs to get back on track.
