Mokulele Airlines has temporarily suspended all flights for maintenance, urging customers to reach out for rebooking or refunds.
The airline, which connects the islands of Hawaii, made the announcement this morning. If you’re a customer, you should reach out to their customer service at (808) 495-4188 or toll-free at 1-866-260-7070 for help with rebooking or refunds. They haven’t said when flights will start up again.
This isn’t the first time Mokulele has faced challenges. Back in August 2024, the Federal Aviation Administration found some maintenance problems during routine inspections. Mokulele said they needed to fix a compliance issue right away.
They also get federal subsidies to keep flights going to Lanai under the Essential Air Service program. This helps ensure that small communities stay connected, especially between Lanai and Honolulu, where there have been worries about Mokulele’s reliability. So, it’s a bit of a tough spot for them right now.
