Denver: There’s a lot of excitement in the Broncos camp about Bo Nix. After a long stretch of changing quarterbacks, it seems they’ve finally found their guy.

Nix had a solid rookie season, leading the team to a 10-7 record and their first playoff appearance since 2015. Even after a tough loss in the wild-card round, owner Greg Penner was all in on Nix.

“It’s obvious that he’s the guy,” Penner said, praising Nix’s leadership and performance. He threw for nearly 3,800 yards, with 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, plus he rushed for four more scores.

On top of that, Nix is up for the Rookie of the Year award, alongside some other talented players. General manager George Paton noticed Nix’s special qualities right from rookie minicamp.

“You saw poise beyond his years,” Paton said, highlighting how the team embraced Nix as a rookie captain. Right tackle Mike McGlinchey echoed this, saying Nix has the right stuff.

Coaches praised Nix for his arm strength and ability to stay calm under pressure. He even played through injuries, showing his toughness in key moments.

Nix has been hard at work since the season ended, already planning his offseason training. He’s eager to improve and has been meeting with coaches to discuss his growth.

Head coach Sean Payton believes Nix is the player they need to lead the team moving forward. He’s optimistic about the future with Nix at the helm.
