Washington, DC: Happy Monday, everyone! This week is packed with events to celebrate Martin Luther King Day. You can join in on some uplifting activities around the city.
One highlight is the MLK Holiday Peace Walk and Parade. It’s been a tradition for over 40 years, starting with a rally at Shepherd Park before marching to the Entertainment & Sports Arena. There’s even a health fair afterward!
Don’t miss the Let Freedom Ring Celebration at the Kennedy Center. It features amazing performances by Christopher Jackson and Esperanza Spalding, hosted by Taye Diggs. Tickets are free but will be available on the day of the event.
