Eau Claire: So, there’s this guy named Zudi Vaidi, 50, from Medford. He was delivering meals for Grubhub to North High School last February when things got a bit wild. He showed up with a handgun, which definitely raised some eyebrows.

A school resource officer got wind of it after a staff member reported that Vaidi had a gun. When the officer found him, he had a Glock, extra magazines, pepper spray, and a Taser. Yikes! Because of this, he faced charges for having a firearm on school grounds, which is a felony, but it’s the least serious kind in Wisconsin.

The good news? Vaidi never went inside the school and didn’t threaten anyone. He recently signed a deferred acceptance of guilty plea agreement. This means he can plead guilty, but the court won’t officially accept it right away. If he stays out of trouble for two years, he might get his record wiped clean.

He’s got a hearing set for January 14, 2027. If he keeps his nose clean until then, he could walk away without a criminal record from this whole incident. Fingers crossed for him!
