New York: David Schwimmer, known for his role as Ross on “Friends,” recently opened up about the challenges of fame. He recalled how he was often followed by three or four cars, which made life pretty overwhelming.

He mentioned that being a public figure at a young age was scary. Schwimmer advised his younger self to enjoy the ride more, as it was tough to deal with the lack of privacy.

Now at 58, he reflects on how fame affected his personal life. He felt it changed how he interacted with others, making him want to hide instead of engage.

Schwimmer is currently promoting his new series, “Goosebumps: The Vanishing,” which is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. He plays a recently divorced dad, and he’s excited about the opportunity to challenge himself as an actor.

He also shared that he enjoys being a dad and prefers roles that allow him to stay close to home. Schwimmer has a daughter named Cleo, born in 2011.

He prepared for his role by reading “Say Out of the Basement,” which inspired his character. Schwimmer expressed excitement about being part of the “Goosebumps” world, as many people love the stories.

All eight episodes of “Goosebumps: The Vanishing” are now available for streaming.
