Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are set to clash in London this April after signing the contract for their highly anticipated fight
Alalshikh shared the news on social media, and it’s got everyone buzzing. There are even photos of Benn signing the contract with his promoter, Eddie Hearn, at The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge. It’s all official now!
Hearn posted on Instagram, saying this is “the biggest fight in British boxing.” While the exact date and venue aren’t set yet, it’s likely to happen at either Tottenham Hotspur Stadium or Wembley Stadium.
Eubank hasn’t officially confirmed his participation yet, but he did respond to Benn’s signing. He joked about it being “his own death sentence.” Just hours before the announcement, he was on social media calling Benn and Hearn “two rats” for trying to impose rehydration rules on him.
Benn fired back, saying he’s moving up two weight classes to fight Eubank and questioned why Eubank would want to fight as a light heavyweight. He’s clearly not backing down, even saying he’ll “staple” Eubank to the floor. It’s heating up, and fans can’t wait to see how this unfolds!
