Carrollton: So, guess what? Antonio Cromartie Jr., the son of the former NFL star, just committed to Florida State University! He made the trip to Tallahassee over the weekend and was really impressed.

He got his offer from FSU on Christmas Day and was eager to make a decision by Monday. After chatting with head coach Mike Norvell and defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain, he felt right at home.

Cromartie Jr. said, “Coach Norvell is building something special here, and I want to be a part of it.” He’s excited about continuing the legacy of great defensive backs at FSU.

This kid is a three-star defensive back from Georgia and mentioned that the coaches didn’t just offer him because of his dad’s name. They see real potential in him.

He called FSU his “dream school” and has been looking forward to this moment for a long time. Cromartie Jr. had a standout senior season, helping his high school team reach the state title game.

His dad, Antonio Cromartie, had an impressive 11-year NFL career, mostly with the Jets, and even played college ball at FSU. It looks like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
