Kitty Song Covey returns for Season 2, reuniting with familiar faces from To All The Boys
Seoul: A new semester at KISS means fresh starts, new crushes, and plenty of drama for Kitty Song Covey, played by Anna Cathcart. But guess what? Some familiar faces are popping back in.
The spin-off series, XO, Kitty, follows Kitty as she heads to Seoul, Korea, to attend the same international school her mom went to. She’s chasing love with her long-distance boyfriend, Dae-Heon Kim, but things get complicated when she finds herself drawn to Dae’s fake girlfriend, Yuri, and his roommate, Min Ho.
While the first season was all about her love life, Season 2 shifts focus back to Kitty’s family. She’s determined to learn more about her mom’s past, and that’s where some stars from To All The Boys come in to help her out.
One exciting return is Peter Kavinsky, played by Noah Centineo. He swings by while traveling with his lacrosse team, and his visit stirs up some jealousy in Min Ho. Plus, he brings Kitty a special gift from Lara Jean—letters meant for her mom!
Centineo shared how great it was to work with Anna again, saying it was a joy to step back into the To All The Boys universe. Fans will also get a treat with a Song Covey sister reunion, even though Lara Jean, played by Lana Candor, isn’t around this season. Instead, we see Margot, played by Janel Parrish, visiting Seoul with their grandmother.
Kitty feels Lara Jean’s absence, but she’s following in her sister’s romantic footsteps. She even writes a letter to Yuri, just like Lara Jean suggested, and recreates that famous hot tub scene from the original movies.
As of now, XO, Kitty hasn’t been renewed for a third season, but these cameos hint that we might finally see Lara Jean visit Kitty in the future. Regardless, XO, Kitty keeps the fun and lighthearted vibe alive, showcasing Kitty as she carves out her own path, just like Lara Jean did.
