A woman in her 40s has been arrested after a man in his 50s was found dead in Salford, prompting a murder investigation by police

Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving a welfare concern call around 7:30 AM. Sadly, they found a man in his 50s who had injuries consistent with an assault, according to Greater Manchester Police.
Detectives quickly started a murder investigation and arrested a woman in her 40s. She’s still being questioned by the police.
