A Wichita man has raised almost $700,000 to help a local woman improve her home accessibility

Instead of just mowing her lawn, Spencer took it a step further. He launched a GoFundMe to help make her home more accessible. In just a day, he raised over $694,000 from more than 27,000 generous donors.
The funds will help build a ramp, a new driveway, and a chair lift for Beth. They’ll also cover lawn maintenance for a few years, fix broken windows, and get her a new bed that’s easier to use.
Spencer is also working with a lawyer to set up a trust for Beth. He wants to ensure the money is safe and used properly. He’s committed to keeping everything above board.
He plans to share updates on his YouTube channel soon. Spencer mentioned he’ll make a detailed video about how the funds are spent in the next month or two. So, if you want to follow along, be sure to subscribe to his channel!
