Wichita: A local fashion designer is making waves! Hazel Stabler’s dress will be worn at an inaugural ball. How cool is that?

Hazel has been friends with La Donna Curzon since high school. La Donna, who now lives in Virginia, has a long history in politics. They reconnected recently, and La Donna decided to have Hazel design her dress for the ball.

La Donna has attended every Republican presidential ball since Reagan. She was super excited to get Hazel involved after seeing her work at Paris Fashion Week. They had a fitting, and it all came together.

La Donna wanted the dress to be “Nancy Reagan Red” and even had the fabric custom-made. Hazel said it turned out exquisite! She also added a touch of gold and a rhinestone eagle on the tail of the dress.

To top it off, La Donna will wear custom-made gold sneakers to match. She found some fun Trump-themed sneakers that sold out quickly. They’ll definitely add a unique flair to her outfit!

This is Hazel’s first time designing for a presidential ball, and she’s thrilled. She’s been in the fashion game for years but feels inspired to create more elegant gowns after this experience.

La Donna is so proud of her friend and can’t wait to show off the stunning dress at the ball. It’s a big moment for both of them!
