AAR CORP is set to expand its Wellington facility, adding jobs and boosting the local economy with a $9.5 million investment

They’re putting in a hefty $9.5 million to add a whopping 100,000 square feet to their space. Plus, they’re looking to create up to 100 new jobs. How cool is that? They plan to kick off operations in the new area by April.
AAR is known for providing aviation services, including maintenance and repair, and they work with both commercial and government clients.
Lt. Governor David Toland mentioned that this expansion is a win for south-central Kansas, strengthening the local aviation scene.
Ben Murrell, the general manager at AAR’s Wellington facility, expressed excitement about the growth. He said it’ll help them serve their global customers better and meet the rising demand in Kansas.
This facility has been around for nearly 60 years, and with this expansion, they’ll be able to add even more products to what they offer. It’s a great step forward for the community!
