Three individuals were arrested following a burglary involving a firearm and a police chase in Whitefield early Wednesday morning

They got to the victim’s home in no time after the report came in. Officers from the specialist operations branch worked together to track down a vehicle linked to the suspects.
They spotted the vehicle on Manchester Road, heading toward Whitefield. After a brief chase, armed officers managed to stop the car and apprehend the suspects without any injuries.
Two men, aged 55 and 37, and a 54-year-old woman were taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated burglary. They’re now waiting to be questioned by detectives in Bury.
The police have seized the vehicle for forensic analysis. Superintendent Paul Walker praised the quick actions of the officers, emphasizing how crucial their teamwork is in keeping the community safe.
He noted that the outcome could have been much worse, but thanks to their swift response, no one got hurt. The police are committed to tackling crime in Greater Manchester, day and night.
