Birmingham: So, Vito Coppola just announced he won’t be kicking off the Strictly Come Dancing live tour. He’s dealing with some back pain, which is a bummer. He was supposed to start the tour on January 17 with Sarah Hadland, but now he’s got to sit this one out for a bit.

He shared the news on ITV’s This Morning, saying he’ll be back soon. In the meantime, Nikita Kuzmin will take his place. Nikita was paired with Olympic hockey player Sam Quek last season, so he’s got the moves to keep the show going.

Vito mentioned that he’s got some lower back pain. He can still walk around, but sharp movements are tricky. He’s hoping to be back in action by January 21 in Sheffield. He’s committed to his physio this week, so fingers crossed!

The tour features some familiar faces, like Tasha Ghouri from Love Island and JB Gill from JLS. Unfortunately, this year’s winner, Chris McCausland, can’t join due to his stand-up commitments. The tour runs until February 9, and the judges will be there to give their feedback, including Motsi Mabuse for the first time. It’s going to be a fun ride, and the audience gets to vote for their favorite performances!
