Cameras rolled in Great Budworth as the crew filmed a new episode of the hit comedy series Brassic

Great Budworth: So, guess what? The cameras were rolling in Great Budworth for the comedy series Brassic. It’s pretty cool to see the village getting some spotlight.
Passerby Daniel Pendlebury caught the action around 6pm on Monday. He said the crew was there for a few hours, making the village feel like a movie set.
This isn’t the first time Great Budworth has been in front of the camera. It’s previously featured in BBC’s War of the Worlds and Netflix’s Missing You. But this time, it was all about Brassic.
Brassic is a comedy-drama created by Danny Brocklehurst and Joe Gilgun. It follows Vinnie O’Neil, played by Gilgun, and his wild crew, including stars like Michelle Keegan and Ryan Sampson.
The show has had six series so far, with filming locations in Cheshire, Lancashire, and Greater Manchester. They’re gearing up for the next series, which started pre-production late last year.
Daniel mentioned that Joe Gilgun was in great spirits, really getting into his character. He even took a moment to chat with fans before diving back into his role.
The new series of Brassic doesn’t have a release date yet, but the previous one is available now. By the way, the title “Brassic” is a cheeky nod to the slang for being broke.
Alex Moody from Sky said they’re thrilled to have Vinnie and the gang back for another wild ride, promising plenty of laughs and some classic moments.
