Washington: So, it’s going to be super cold for Trump’s inauguration. They’re saying it’ll be around 22 degrees at noon, which is the coldest it’s been since Reagan’s second inauguration.

Because of this frigid weather, the ceremony is moving indoors to the U.S. Capitol Rotunda instead of the usual outdoor spot. Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance will be sworn in there.

CNN broke the news, and Trump confirmed it on his Truth Social account. The Rotunda is always the backup plan for bad weather during inaugurations.

Trump also mentioned that Capital One Arena will be open for folks who want to watch the swearing-in ceremony live. Plus, the presidential parade will also be held indoors at the arena.

The National Weather Service is warning that it’ll be really cold, with wind chills making it feel even worse. They’re predicting wind speeds of 30 to 35 mph, which is no joke.

It’s going to be a chilly day, and later in the week, temperatures might even drop to single digits. So, it’s definitely a good idea to bundle up if you’re heading out.

In his post, Trump expressed concern for everyone attending, saying he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt in the cold. He’s making sure everything is safe and comfortable for the big day.

He also reassured everyone that the inauguration will still be a beautiful experience, especially for those watching on TV. So, it sounds like they’re doing their best to make it a memorable event despite the weather!
