Stockport: The community is heartbroken over the passing of Claire Diffley, a local legend known for her karaoke skills and infectious laughter.
Claire, who had learning disabilities, sadly passed away on January 13 after being hospitalized with pneumonia. Her cousin shared that she also faced complications like asthma and obesity.
At just 50 years old, Claire was a familiar face around Stockport, often seen on the 192 bus, where she would entertain everyone with her singing and rapping about her experiences.
Her cousin Ivan described her as someone who never let her challenges hold her back. She was always full of life, making jokes and brightening up the day for those around her.
Growing up in Reddish, Claire lived with her family until they passed away. After that, she moved into assisted living but remained fiercely independent.
