Accrington: Three pubs in East Lancashire are gearing up for a week-long celebration of the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns.

The Commercial Hotel in Accrington, The Postal Order in Blackburn, and The Old Chapel in Darwen will serve traditional Scottish dishes from January 22 to 28.

They’ll have a special menu featuring haggis, neeps, and tatties, plus a Caledonian burger. The haggis meal, made with award-winning haggis from Grants of Speyside, will range from £6.99 to £9.02, depending on your drink choice.

If you’re not super hungry, there’s a smaller haggis portion for £5.49 or £7.02 with a drink. The Caledonian burger will set you back £9.40 or £10.93 with a drink.

The pubs will also offer a selection of Scottish drinks, including the exclusive Inveralmond Ossian beer, which has a hoppy, zesty flavor.

Emily Cookson, the manager at The Postal Order, mentioned that this seven-day celebration is a fantastic chance for customers to enjoy traditional Scottish food and drink beyond just Burns Night on January 25.
