Bury: Three guys were nabbed for burglary, and it all went down during a wild police chase in South Manchester. It was quite the night for the officers on duty.

The trouble started when a stolen car, thought to be linked to some burglaries, was spotted in Burnage just before 10 PM. The Greater Manchester Police’s Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit jumped into action, but the driver didn’t stop, leading to a chase.

The pursuit wrapped up on Holmside Gardens, where they arrested three men aged 35, 39, and 40. They’re facing charges for burglary, dangerous driving, and being equipped to steal. Right now, they’re in custody for questioning.

When the police searched the car, they found gloves, balaclavas, and lock snap kits, which have all been taken for forensic analysis. The car will eventually be returned to its rightful owner.

Inspector Danny Kabal from GMP’s TVIU said this should reassure folks that they’re out there, actively patrolling to catch those causing trouble in the community.

Interestingly, on the same night, three other men were also arrested for burglary in Bury, though those incidents weren’t connected. It just shows how far the police are spreading their resources to keep the area safe.

Catching burglars and locking them up is a top priority for them, and they’re committed to making it happen. The inspector also thanked the public for their support and apologized for any hassle caused during the chase.
