Long Island: So, the latest episode of *The Real Good Guys* has dropped, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. It kicks off with Jude Law as Jod Na Nawood, who’s been a standout character. He’s got this cool transformation from a bad guy with a heart to a real villain, which is pretty engaging. But honestly, the show feels like it’s been running on fumes lately.

The kids in the show started off as typical adventure movie characters, and it shows. Some of the action scenes felt rushed, and it’s a bummer that Kelly MacDonald barely got any screen time. You’d think she’d be a co-lead, but nope.

In this episode, things kind of stall out. It’s like the writers just shrugged and said, “Let’s wrap it up.” Jod, now a Jedi Knight, has to deal with some security droids and a giant robot. But the whole climax feels anticlimactic, like they were just checking boxes.

The bad guys are up to their usual antics, trying to take over and enslave people, which seems a bit over the top. I mean, why go through all that trouble when there’s already so much money around? But hey, that’s villain logic for you.

The kids have to jump through a ton of hoops to save the day, and it’s honestly a bit tedious. They have to break into a tower, turn on the power, and call for help. It’s way more complicated than it needs to be.

In the end, the good guys win, but it all feels a bit rushed and unfulfilling. Jod’s backstory is revealed, but we don’t get a proper conclusion for him. It’s like the creators were interrupted before they could finish.

There’s a chance for a second season, but who knows if that’ll happen? It’s a shame because the show had potential, especially with a character like Jod. Here’s hoping they can pull it together if they get another shot.
