The Killers Set to Rock Las Vegas with Exciting Upcoming Shows

Las Vegas: The Killers are gearing up for some exciting shows this week at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. They’ve been rocking since the mid-2000s, playing everywhere from small clubs to big arenas.

This week, they’ll perform on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The last two shows will be recorded for a video project, which sounds super cool! It’s a great time to look back at some of their best performances over the years.

One of my favorites was back in September 2004 at the House of Blues. They had just released “Hot Fuss,” and the energy was electric. I started the night in the VIP section but ended up right in front of the stage, surrounded by fans who’ve loved them since day one.

Then there was that wild night in October 2005 at the Empire Ballroom. Ronnie Vannucci played with Matt Sorum from Guns N’ Roses, and it was a star-studded party. I even remember Macy Gray popping in as the sun came up!

Fast forward to October 2013, and they were the perfect band to kick off the Life is Beautiful festival. When they played “Viva Las Vegas,” the crowd sang along, and it echoed off the Fremont Street hotels. What a moment!

Brandon Flowers also had his first solo show at the Shimmer Cabaret in August 2010. The venue was packed, and everyone was buzzing with excitement. It was clear he had a huge following.

In April 2019, they appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and it was fun to hear about Flowers’ early days working in a restaurant. He even played “Mr. Brightside” for the staff back then, and it was a hit!

They also did a benefit concert in December 2017 at T-Mobile Arena, where “Mr. Brightside” had the crowd going wild. It was an all-star event with other Vegas legends joining in.

More recently, in August 2022, they rocked T-Mobile Arena again, closing with “Brightside.” The crowd was so into it, swaying and singing along. It was a blast!

Now, at The Colosseum, they’re switching things up by playing “Hot Fuss” in order, which is a treat for fans. The iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign will be right behind them, reminding everyone of their roots.

Brandon has hinted at doing more shows at Caesars, and honestly, that sounds like a fantastic idea. It would be great to see them back regularly and keep the excitement alive!
