The Texans dominated the Chargers, intercepting Herbert four times to secure a 32-12 victory in the wild-card playoff

This marks the second year in a row that Stroud and the Texans have made it past the first round. Last year, they took down Cleveland, and now they’ve done it again. Herbert, who usually doesn’t throw many picks, had a tough day against the Texans’ defense, especially with Derek Stingley making two of those interceptions.
The Chargers, under their new coach Jim Harbaugh, are still searching for their first playoff win since 2018. They’ve now lost in the wild-card round two years in a row. Stroud had a decent game, throwing for 282 yards and a touchdown to Nico Collins, who had a great day with seven catches for 122 yards. Joe Mixon also contributed with a solid 106 rushing yards and a touchdown. Herbert struggled, finishing with a passer rating of just 40.9. What a turnaround for the Texans!
