A man in Tennessee has been arrested after allegedly shooting at a family sledding in the snow, claiming they were on his property

The incident happened in Hamilton County when deputies got a call about a man shooting at a family of six. The family had just walked down the street to sled on a nearby hill.
Around 11:30 a.m., they heard gunshots coming from a house nearby. The mother even saw snow kick up just a couple of feet from her one-year-old son.
When the parents yelled at Cook to stop shooting, he claimed they were on his property. The family insisted they weren’t, packed up, and went home to report the incident.
Deputies then went to Cook’s house and spoke with him. They charged him with six counts of aggravated assault after gathering evidence, including photos from a neighbor showing him with a rifle.
An investigation confirmed the family was not on Cook’s property when he started shooting. A search of his home turned up several rifles, adding to the seriousness of the situation.
