BLVD Las Vegas is gearing up for its grand opening this spring with exciting new tenants
Las Vegas: The BLVD is not your typical shopping center. It’s more like a vibrant mix of retail, unique experiences, and special events. Michael Hirschfeld from JLL, who’s in charge of leasing, says you won’t find the same old stores you see everywhere else.
BLVD took over the spot where the Hawaiian Marketplace used to be, which closed in 2022. The plans for this place have been brewing since 2018. The developers, Gindi Capital, own a lot of property on the Strip, stretching from BLVD all the way down to the MGM Grand.
Hirschfeld mentioned that the project evolved during the COVID lockdown, giving them time to refine their ideas. Everything is designed to make it work well for retailers.
When the doors finally open, BLVD will be the largest standalone retail, entertainment, and dining complex on the Strip, covering a whopping 400,000 square feet—all without a casino or hotel.
So far, big names like Lululemon, Abercrombie & Fitch, JD Sports, Pandora, Adidas, H&M, and Puma are set to open. The first tenants will start welcoming customers from March to May, with some opening as late as 2026.
Puma actually opened its doors back in November during the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, which was a big deal.
On top of that, BLVD will feature a massive 120,000 square-foot rooftop dedicated to food and drinks. Hirschfeld expects to have 10 to 12 full-service restaurants, with In-N-Out and a pizza place called How Ya Dough’n already signed on. They’re also chatting with Italian, Mediterranean, and Mexican restaurants, plus maybe a dessert spot.
The rooftop will be perfect for special events or performances. For instance, Paris Hilton DJed during the Puma flagship grand opening, which was a hit.
There’s also a cool spot called The Overlook, a small area right above Las Vegas Boulevard, which Hirschfeld thinks will be a popular selfie spot.
He added, “People need a place to just maybe take a break. We have the Overlook feature. Sit out on the Overlook and take your selfie. Sit with your family. Just relax.” There’s a lot of energy on the Strip, after all.
More tenants are on the way, and there’s still a 10,000 square-foot space waiting to be filled.
