Elijah Caudill, 24, faces multiple felony charges after a series of stabbings in Denver, with a warrant out for his arrest prior to the incidents.
What’s wild is that Caudill had a warrant out for his arrest before all this went down. He didn’t show up for a court date about a month ago for a different case. That’s when the judge issued a bench warrant for him. He was already in hot water for some criminal mischief, which is basically messing up someone else’s stuff.
The police think he’s the one behind all four stabbings, and it seems like the victims didn’t know him at all. They’re still trying to figure out why he did it. One of the victims was a 71-year-old flight attendant named Celinda Levno, who was just in town for work. The other was a 34-year-old guy named Nicholas Burkett.
The attacks happened pretty quickly, with three stabbings occurring in just an hour on Saturday evening. Investigators caught on that one person was behind the attacks after the third stabbing, but it took them until late Sunday to find Caudill. They spotted him running with a big knife after he allegedly attacked the fourth victim. It’s a pretty intense situation, and everyone’s hoping for some answers soon.
