Washington, D.C.: So, it looks like President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration is going to be a chilly one. The Weather Channel is saying we might only hit 26 degrees on Monday, and it could get even colder at night, dipping into the single digits. Plus, with winds reaching 20 mph, it’s going to feel even frostier.

This is shaping up to be the coldest inauguration since 1985. Can you believe that? Ronald Reagan had the warmest and coldest inaugurations on record. When he took office in 1981, it was a nice 55 degrees, but four years later, it was a bone-chilling 7 degrees, and they had to move everything indoors!

With around 250,000 ticketed guests expected to brave the cold, security is ramping up. And let’s not forget, many more folks will be watching from afar. It’s definitely going to be a different vibe compared to Trump’s last inauguration, which was a rainy day but at least a mild 50 degrees.

On the bright side, this time around, there’s a lineup of performers that’s looking pretty good. Carrie Underwood, Lee Greenwood, and the Village People are all set to take part, along with Kid Rock and Billy Ray Cyrus. Should be quite the show, even if it’s freezing out!
