Several major companies are seeing significant premarket trading activity following strong earnings reports and positive forecasts

Then there’s the quantum computing stocks. They’re on the rise after Microsoft announced a new program for businesses. Rigetti Computing jumped 8%, and D-Wave Quantum soared more than 17.5%. IonQ also gained a nice 4.8%.
Wells Fargo is in the spotlight too, with earnings that exceeded expectations, pushing their shares up by 3.2%. They reported an adjusted $1.42 per share, beating the forecast of $1.35. They’re also optimistic about net interest income increasing in 2025.
Goldman Sachs is doing well, with shares climbing 2.1% after they reported earnings of $11.95 a share on revenue of $13.87 billion. That’s way above what analysts were expecting.
Digital Realty Trust saw a 1.7% bump after getting an upgrade from Deutsche Bank, which thinks they’ll benefit from the demand for data centers. BlackRock also had a good day, with shares up over 3.7% after reporting earnings that beat expectations.
Lastly, Citigroup gained more than 3% after their fourth-quarter results came in better than expected, earning $1.34 per share. It’s a busy day in the markets for sure!
