The Stella Nova hotel opens Tuesday, marking the first phase of Universal’s Epic Universe project.
Stella Nova is Universal’s ninth hotel and the first to launch in this new area. It’s got a cool design with a starry theme and some seriously unique architecture. The outside is covered in colorful tiles that change colors depending on the light and angle. You can see it shining along Universal Boulevard.
The hotel is made up of 140,000 stainless steel tiles, inspired by images from the James Webb telescope. It’s a real eye-catcher! Inside, the lobby is bright and features space-themed artwork from NASA. But don’t expect a space travel theme; it’s more about the beauty of the cosmos.
The lobby leads to some great spots like Nova Bar and Cosmos Cafe, plus a resort-style pool. The design includes lots of curves, which makes it feel more like space. The rooms are also designed to face the pool or the new theme park, giving guests a great view.
Guests can enjoy unique features like spaceship-style windows and cosmic cocktails. While it’s not right next to the theme park, some rooms will have views of the upcoming attractions, like the Donkey Kong ride.
Universal is positioning Stella Nova as a family-friendly hotel with a good value. All rooms are spacious, and the hotel is designed to be comfortable and affordable. It’s a great addition to Universal’s lineup, and families are sure to love it!
