The South Florida Strawberry Festival returns to Boca Raton with fresh strawberries, rides, and a promo code for discounts on tickets

Boca Raton: Strawberry season is here, and it’s time to celebrate! The South Florida Strawberry Festival is happening from January 17 to 19 at Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park.
This year, the festival has a new name and a bigger space. It’s four times larger than before, with more rides and vendors. You can expect everything from strawberry cookies to hot sauce!
Organizer Skyler Mendieta is excited about the lineup. They’re expecting around 15,000 visitors, and there will be fun activities like dog shows, bounce houses, and even a petting zoo.
Unlike the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, this event focuses on the local strawberry season, which runs from late November to April. Mendieta says it’s a great way to enjoy strawberries while the rest of the country is dealing with winter.
They’ve moved the festival to a larger venue to avoid crowding. Last year, it was a bit cramped, but now there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.
Live music will be part of the fun, featuring bands like Mixtape and Endless Rhythms. Plus, there will be a big dining tent for all the strawberry-themed food.
Parking is free, and there’s room for 1,600 cars. If you want to park closer, there’s a VIP lot for $10. So, no worries about finding a spot!
Robert Hoover, who runs Family Farms, will provide fresh strawberries for the festival. He’s excited to support local farms and bring fresh produce to the community.
Family Farms is also hosting its own Strawberry Festival on January 18, where you can pick strawberries and enjoy other fun activities.
Mendieta’s company is also planning more events this year, including a Ribs N Brew Fest and a Watermelon Festival. So, there’s a lot to look forward to!
If you’re interested in attending, tickets are $20, and you can use the promo code BERRY25 for a discount. It’s going to be a sweet time!
