Simon Cowell expresses his devastation over the LA wildfires and urges support for those affected by the disaster

The fires have tragically taken 16 lives and destroyed many homes. Emergency teams are working hard to control the flames, especially with strong winds threatening to spread them further.
In his Instagram video, Simon shared how LA has been his second home for nearly 25 years. He said he was devastated by the destruction he’s seen.
He also mentioned he would donate to help those affected and encouraged others to do the same. He highlighted the Red Cross as a great organization to support.
Simon said, “There are a lot of people who need help now and in the future.” He ended his message with love and support for everyone impacted.
Many celebrities have also shared their stories of loss. Paris Hilton started an emergency fund after her Malibu home burned down, donating $100,000 to kick things off.
Other stars like Mel Gibson and Jamie Chung have lost their homes too. Thankfully, some, like Patsy Palmer and Mark Hamill, confirmed their homes survived the fires.
Jennifer Garner has been volunteering, providing food for evacuees and emergency workers. She shared her heartbreak over losing a friend in the disaster.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also visited a meal distribution site, offering hugs and support to those affected. Meanwhile, Sharon Stone encouraged others to donate, inspiring Halle Berry to pack up her closet to help families in need.
