Shannon Beador speaks out on Alexis Bellino’s firing from RHOC, denying involvement in the decision.
Orange County: Shannon Beador has finally shared her thoughts on Alexis Bellino getting fired from “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” She insists she had nothing to do with it, especially after their long feud.
In a chat with Us Weekly, Beador said, “I have zero power with the network or production or anyone, and I would never want to interfere with someone’s livelihood.” Sounds pretty clear, right?
She even threw some shade at Bellino, who called herself a “TV star” during the Season 18 reunion. Beador quipped, “Alexis Bellino is a TV star, and she’s been a TV star for 15 years, so I’m sure she’ll get a new gig sometime very soon.” Ouch!
Last month, Bellino revealed she was let go from the show, saying, “I was not asked back next season” on the “Going Rogue” podcast. She was on the show for four seasons and returned as a “friend” in Season 18.
Bellino’s last season was all about her drama with Beador. She admitted she wasn’t shocked by the news, saying, “I can’t say it came as a shock. It did not come as a shock.”
Beador seemed to poke fun at Bellino’s self-proclaimed “TV star” status. Meanwhile, Beador’s own return to the show was filled with drama, especially since her ex, John Janssen, is now engaged to Bellino.
After their breakup, Janssen claimed Beador didn’t pay him back for a $75K facelift loan. They eventually settled, and sources say Beador is relieved to have that behind her.
“She never wanted this situation with Shannon and John to come between them, and she’s glad they can just close this chapter and put it in the past,” an insider shared.
