Kimberly Kelley, 71, moved to Panama seeking adventure and a vibrant lifestyle.

She’s got a thing for younger guys, dating men about ten years her junior because she’s not interested in taking care of an “old man.”
Kimberly has always been adventurous. Her time in the Air Force took her to places like England and Germany, and she loved soaking in different cultures. After returning to the US, she traveled a lot with her ex-husband, playing music at various venues.
In 2015, they even started a church in Sedona, but after her divorce in 2020, she felt isolated. People treated her like a “Reverend” and it made socializing tough.
Once her mother and dog passed away in 2022, she felt free to explore living abroad. She thought about Bali but didn’t like the long travel time.
Eventually, she considered Spanish-speaking countries since she had some language skills. After hiring a relocation coach, she visited Belize and Panama. Panama won her heart, especially after visiting San Lucas.
She quickly put a down payment on a condo by the ocean. The warm weather, beach, and friendly community were just what she wanted.
With only two months to prepare, she sold most of her belongings and packed her life into two suitcases. The moment she landed in Panama, she felt a wave of freedom wash over her.
Now, she’s loving her new life. The food is healthier, the cost of living is lower, and she’s made a great group of friends who share her love for pickleball.
As for dating, she’s enjoying herself. The dating scene is small but lively enough for fun outings. Kimberly’s retirement is everything she hoped for—exciting and far from stagnant.
