New York: So, the CEO of Sephora, Artemis Patrick, recently shared that teens really only need three skincare products. She said it’s all about keeping it simple with just a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen.

During a talk at a big retail event, she mentioned how important it is for young people to use age-appropriate products. She even recounted a chat with a retail expert about his daughter trying to buy stuff that’s not right for her skin.

Patrick joked that he should tell her, “The CEO of Sephora said no!” It’s pretty wild how many young shoppers are going for high-end skincare these days.

Last year, TikTok blew up with videos of young girls in Sephora, spending big bucks on fancy products. Dermatologists have been saying for ages that teens don’t need all those extra products.

Their skin is still young and doesn’t have the same issues as adults. Patrick also mentioned that Sephora is planning a huge redesign for all its North American stores in the next five years. Sounds like they’re gearing up for something big!
