Sean Combs’ legal team argues that videos support his innocence amid serious allegations

In a recent court filing, his lawyers argued that after watching the videos, it’s clear they show consensual activity between adults in a long-term relationship. They believe these recordings are crucial for his defense and should be made available electronically.
The defense insists that the nine videos in question show private moments and that the woman involved was not only consenting but also enjoying herself. They argue that the tapes directly counter the claims that Combs kept them as leverage.
According to the lawyers, the videos don’t show any wild parties or coercion. They say the woman kept the videos on her own device and shared them with the authorities. The defense describes her as happy and in control in the footage, with no signs of violence or manipulation.
They also point out that there’s no evidence of anyone being under the influence of drugs or alcohol during these encounters. Combs’ team has accused the prosecutors of being sexist and trying to control non-traditional sexual behavior.
The lawyers are pushing for the government to provide these videos so Combs can prepare for his trial. He’s currently in jail, facing serious charges like sex trafficking and racketeering, which he denies.
The indictment claims that federal agents found a stash of lubricants, drugs, and firearms during a raid on his properties. Combs is set to go to trial in May, and if convicted, he could face a long time behind bars.
