Sean Combs is being sued for allegedly drugging and raping a 16-year-old girl in 2000, with the lawsuit filed by Jane Doe.
New York: Sean “Diddy” Combs is in hot water after a woman, known as Jane Doe, accused him of drugging and raping her back in 2000. She filed a lawsuit on Monday, claiming that Combs and two of his associates were involved in the incident.
The woman said she met Combs outside her babysitting job in Lower Manhattan. He started chatting with her, expressing concern for her safety while walking alone at night. Despite her reassurances, he insisted on giving her a ride home.
After some persuasion, she got into his car, which she later regretted. She felt uneasy when they didn’t take her home as promised. According to her, Combs offered her a drink to help her relax, which made her feel groggy.
The lawsuit alleges that Combs then took her to a different location where he sexually assaulted her. Afterward, his associates dropped her off at her apartment building, leaving her in the lobby.
Even though this happened nearly 25 years ago, the woman is using a New York law that allows survivors of gender-based violence to file lawsuits beyond the usual time limits. Combs’ legal team has strongly denied the allegations, insisting he has never assaulted anyone.
As he faces this lawsuit, Combs is also dealing with other serious charges, including sex trafficking, and has been in jail since September 2024. He maintains his innocence amid multiple accusations of sexual misconduct.
