Washington: So, Scott Jennings really went off on President Biden’s farewell speech. He was on CNN and couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Jennings called it a “farce” that Biden thought he could run for reelection. I mean, the guy is 82 and has some of the lowest approval ratings ever.

He was shocked that Biden took a victory lap about his presidency when most people think he’s done a terrible job. Jennings said it was wild that Biden and his team thought he could even serve another term. He pointed out that Biden’s final days in office were pretty rough, and he’ll mostly be remembered for his time as vice president and for bringing Trump back into the spotlight.

Biden’s farewell address was supposed to be a big moment, but instead, he warned about the dangers of wealth concentration and power. He even took a jab at tech billionaires like Elon Musk, saying they threaten democracy. But instead of hope, it felt more like a warning.

Despite the heavy tone, Biden wished Trump well as they prepare for the transfer of power. Jennings wasn’t the only one criticizing the speech. Fox News host Dana Perino called it hypocritical, pointing out Biden’s past actions.

Some Democrats praised Biden, saying he showed real leadership during tough times. But it seems like opinions are pretty split on how his presidency will be remembered. It’s definitely a mixed bag as he leaves office.
