Las Vegas: The Scorpions are hitting the brakes on their residency. Their drummer, Mikkey Dee, is dealing with some serious health issues.

They announced that the shows, originally set for February and March, will now take place in August. The new dates are from August 14 to 23, and tickets are already up for grabs on Ticketmaster.

This residency is a big deal for the band as they celebrate their 60th anniversary. Buckcherry will be joining them as the opening act.

The band shared the news on social media, expressing their regret and emphasizing Mikkey’s health as their top priority. They wish him a speedy recovery and can’t wait to rock out with fans again.

Mikkey Dee, 61, recently shared his battle with a severe blood infection that landed him in the hospital for three weeks. He’s now back home, recovering and fighting the infection with the help of great medical care.

Dee has been with the Scorpions since 2016 and was previously part of Motörhead. The current lineup also includes Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Matthaias Jabs, and Pawel Maciwoda.
