Just before the Eagles faced off against the Packers, he shared a cute moment with his girlfriend, Anna, and their two little ones, Jada and Saquon Jr. There’s a video floating around on social media that shows it all.
Barkley, who joined the Eagles last year on a big contract, was holding his kids near the end zone. They even did a special handshake, and he shared a kiss with Anna. It was just heartwarming to see him making time for his family.
The Eagles kicked off the game strong, recovering a fumble right away and scoring a touchdown on their first drive. They were leading 10-0 by the end of the first quarter.
Barkley had rested last week in the regular-season finale, but he was chasing a rushing record. He had already racked up 2,005 rushing yards this season.
He mentioned he was cool with whatever the coach decided about playing time. It’s all about the team, right?
This was Barkley’s third time in the playoffs. He first made it with the Giants in 2022, and his family has always been there for him since he was drafted back in 2018. He and Anna go way back to their college days at Penn State. It’s just nice to see how family means everything to him.
