Sam Aston, known for Coronation Street, shares his ice skating journey ahead of tonight’s Dancing on Ice premiere
In a chat with the Loose Women panel, Sam shared that he’s been working hard with his pro partner, Molly Lanaghan. He mentioned that the training has been tough but fun, and he’s really enjoying the experience.
Sam has put in about 30 hours of basic training before teaming up with Molly for the live show. He described it as a steep learning curve but a once-in-a-lifetime chance.
His kids, Sonny and Daisy, are super excited to see him skate. They’re particularly curious about his costume, with his son even more thrilled about Sam dressing up as a snowman when he announced he’d be on the show.
Sam’s wife, Briony, is all set to cheer him on from the sidelines. She’s been supportive throughout his journey, reminding him that it’s his time to shine.
As for the competition, Sam is currently a favorite to win, with odds at 5/1. Other contestants include reality stars and even Olympic legends, making it a thrilling lineup.
Dancing on Ice airs tonight on ITV at 6:30 PM, and it’s sure to be an exciting show!
