Sally Struthers shares her experience of being fat-shamed by Betty White, recalling a past encounter that left her feeling hurt.

Struthers, known for her role in “All in the Family,” mentioned that she used to live just a few houses away from the iconic “Golden Girls” home. She wanted to share her thoughts about White, saying, “I know everybody loves her,” but her own experience was different.
She described White as “very passive-aggressive” and recounted a moment at White’s home when they were working on a game show pilot. White had asked her housekeeper to bring snacks, and when Struthers reached for a cookie, White publicly advised against it, saying, “Oh, I wouldn’t do that if I were you dear, you don’t need a cookie.”
Struthers felt embarrassed and called it a clear instance of fat-shaming. Despite this, she fondly remembered another “Golden Girls” star, Bea Arthur, who she enjoyed chatting with at the supermarket. Struthers also shared a fun memory of dating Elvis Presley, calling him one of the nicest people she ever met.
