Rudy Giuliani has reached a settlement with Georgia election workers, allowing him to keep his belongings while resolving a defamation case.
The settlement came after a morning of negotiations at a federal courthouse in Manhattan. Giuliani tweeted that he’s satisfied with the outcome and has no complaints. He mentioned he gets to keep his New York coop and Florida condo.
This all started back in December 2023 when a jury ordered Giuliani to pay $148 million for his false claims about election fraud. His lawyer didn’t share how they plan to handle that payment, keeping things under wraps.
The agreement will be finalized once certain conditions are met, which will wrap up all ongoing litigation. Moss and Freeman expressed relief, saying the past four years have been tough. They’re ready to move on and restore their reputations.
Giuliani wasn’t at the courthouse during the negotiations, but he’ll keep his valuable properties, including a $3.5 million condo in Palm Beach and a $5.6 million coop in Manhattan. Some of his other items, like a signed Joe DiMaggio jersey, will also remain with him.
Andrew Giuliani, Rudy’s son, was present and shared his pride in his father, calling him an American hero. It’s a significant moment for the Giuliani family as they navigate this challenging chapter.
