Rockville: Last week, a shocking double murder unfolded in Rockville, Maryland. Kaloyan Stoev, just 25, was arrested after two people were found dead.

The police say he sat on one of the victims to escape the scene. It all started when Stoev met Marcell Hebron, 26, to buy marijuana. Things took a dark turn when Hebron pulled a gun on him.

Stoev, armed with a ghost gun, shot Hebron first. Marroquin, 27, who was in the passenger seat, tried to grab another gun but was shot by Stoev too.

After checking Marroquin and thinking she was dead, Stoev took her phone and tossed it into some bushes. He then got behind the wheel of Hebron’s car, sitting on his body to drive away.

His getaway didn’t go as planned. The car broke down, forcing him to abandon it and head back to the hotel where he was staying.

Hotel staff noticed him acting suspiciously and called the police. When they caught up with him, they found more guns in his bag.

Now, Stoev faces serious charges, including two counts of first-degree murder. The investigation continues as the community grapples with this tragic event.
